• I am CIMPA advisor, and a member of the CIMPA Africa team which meets by telephone about three times a year and discuss activities past and future.
  • I am coadvisor of the Ph D thesis of Seny Diatta from Ziguinchor University (Senegal).
  • I am collaborating with Otto Adamou from Niamey (Niger) and Daouda Niang Diatta from Ziguinchor (Senegal).
  • I am a member of the executive committee of SARIMA a club of french universities and research institutions acting for mathematics in subsaharan Africa, (SARIMA website is being updated, and a new logo has been created).
  •  I am together with Jean Laurent in charge of the Ibni Prize.
  • I am a facilitator of two of the Simons Foundation Africa Mathematics projects. NLAGA, devoted to pde, geometry and applications is based mainly in Senegal, with members in Niger, Mali, Tchad, etc .... Prmais with members in Gabon, Cameroon and Senegal is devoted to cryptology and coding theory, and uses number theory and algebraic geometry.
  • I prepared with Jean-Françoise Dupuy an application for a Groupement de Recherche International from CNRS for Mathematics in subsaharan Africa which is currently under evaluation.
  • I am a member of the joint AMU-CIMPA committee which is selecting EMA/AMS (African Mathematical Schools). In 2016, 8 of these school were selected.
  • I am a member of the international organization committee of the First meeting of AWMA west african chapter taking place in Senegal in july 2016.
  • I am the chair of the newly launched IMU Committe for Women in Mathematics. CWM sponsors a number of events aimed at establishing or supporting networks  for women in mathematics, preferably at the continental or regional level, and with priority given to networks and individuals in developing or emerging countries, see here. The 2016 events will take place in Columbia (Latin America), India, Indonesia (S. and E. Asia), Kazakhstan (Central Asia), Mexico (Latin America), Senegal (West Africa), Tunisia (North  Africa). In 2015-16, similar activities were also funded in Kenya (Africa) and Brazil (Latin America).  See here
