The University Assane Seck of Ziguinchor is a young and dynamic Senegalese university created in 2008. The Laboratory of Applied Mathematics of Ziguinchor gather the members of the Mathematics department and the few other mathematicians recruited by the Computer Sciences and Economics departments of the university. The members of the laboratory are mainly young mathematicians of very varied origin and scientific culture with active connection to international networks in their fields of interests.
